NH Chemical is continuing the efforts on reinforcing the competitiveness in the existing business sectors, and also on developing high functional products for various industrial lube base oils (Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluids, Compressor Lubricants, Gear Lubricants, Automotive Applications, Textile Lubricants, Metalworking fluids).
We are performing research on developing high-quality & eco-friendly surfactants for the future generation. Especially, research is focused on the surfactant that can replace the EDC (Endocrine-disrupting Chemical) substance of nonylphenol(Nonylphenol ethoxylates).
According to the ‘Montreal Protocol; regulations on the production and use of ozone layer depleting substances’ that was adopted in 1987, the Republic of Korea was acknowledged of the status as the developing country from 1994, but according to the changes in the industrial environment of refrigerants, alternative refrigerating machine oil was required. In the present, NH Chemical possesses the manufacturing technology of the refrigerating machine oil that complies with the universal refrigerant R134a. In the future, the refrigerating machine oil complying with the next-generation refrigerant of R1234yf and the refrigerating machine oil complying with electric vehicles will also be developed.
