On June 13, 2023 the Ulsan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups announced a total of 14 companies in Ulsan including YOUNG KWANG CO., LTD. for ‘2023 Global Small Giants 1000+’ and granted them the certificate (Ulsan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups). 

On June 13, 2023, the Ulsan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups named a total of 14 companies in Ulsan including YOUNG KWANG CO., LTD. for ‘2023 Global Small Giants 1000+’ and granted them the certificate (Ulsan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups).

The Global Small Giants 1000+ is a new program designed to integrate the conventional exporting firm nomination systems which varied in terms of selection procedures, schedules and standards such as Global Small Giants, Promising Export Companies and Export Dudeurim Enterprises. 

Among a total of 35 local companies, 14 final firms were chosen through the evaluation of their efforts to develop new markets and global competencies such as technological competitiveness.

The final winners are entitled to the benefits such as overseas marketing across about 20 different countries including ‘export voucher program’, R&D activities and financial assistance. Such benefits are valid until December 31, 2024.

Lee Jong-taek, the president of the Ulsan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, said “We hope that we grow into a competent export frontrunner in global market through continued R&Ds and innovative development.”
